Step 1: Prepare Your Hair for Curling

Before you get started, you need to make sure that your hair is ready for curling. Start by shampooing and conditioning your hair with products that are specifically designed to nourish and protect your locks. If you have especially dry or damaged hair, use a deep conditioning treatment to give your hair an extra boost of hydration. Then, blow dry your hair using a round brush to create a smooth and sleek finish. Once your hair is completely dry, you’re ready to start curling.

Step 2: Section Your Hair for Curling

Once your hair is dry, it’s time to section it for curling. Start by dividing your hair into two sections: the top and the bottom. Then, take the top section and divide it into four sections. Clip the top two sections away, so that you only have access to the bottom two sections. Once your hair is sectioned, you can start curling.

Step 3: Curl the Bottom Sections

Start by taking the bottom section closest to your neck and curling it away from your face. Use a medium to large size curling iron and wrap the hair around the barrel. Hold the iron in place for a few seconds before releasing the section. Make sure to not curl the ends of your hair, as it will give your hair a more natural, beach waves look. Once you’ve curled the first section, move onto the second one. Repeat the same process until both bottom sections are curled.

Step 4: Curl the Top Sections

Now it’s time to curl the top sections. Take the first section and curl it away from your face. For this section, you can use a larger curling iron for added volume, or you can use a smaller one for tighter curls. Hold the iron in place for a few seconds before releasing the section. Once you’ve finished curling the first section, move onto the second one. Repeat the same process until both top sections are curled.

Step 5: Finish Your Look

Once all of your hair is curled, it’s time to finish your look. Use your fingers to gently tousle your hair and create a more natural, beach waves look. You can also use a bit of hairspray to hold your curls in place. And voila! You’ve just created beach wavy hair with a curling iron. Now you’re ready to hit the beach and show off your new look.
